Small Groups

Available Small Groups

Grace Lutheran Church has two types of groups: Tender Loving Care (TLC) groups and semester based groups.
TLC groups have been meeting since 1992 and have been the core of helping members feel connected and cared for, reaching into the community to invite non-members to have a relationship with Jesus and his church, and to spend time in God’s Word.  The TLC group schedule will follow this format:  personal sharing, prayer, Bible study and fellowship. Each group normally considers  a service project in the community or the church.

Semester based groups meet September - November and February - April with an optional summer semester.  Semester groups follow a similar format to TLC groups but have a starting and stopping time. 

You are invited to participate in a faith sharing small group of your choice to grow in God’s Word and God’s grace as you form relationships that nurture faith, relationships and put God’s grace into action by loving one another and our neighbors.

Blessing Group

Meets 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 7 PM at various homes. This group welcomes couples and singles. No child care provided.

meets at various times once a month for fellowship and/or service projects during the school year. During the summer the parents will meet on Wednesday evenings for a Bible Study while the kids have supervised play time. This group welcomes everyone.

meets the 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 7:30 PM in various homes.  This group is for retired couples and individuals who care for and support each other while enjoying Bible study and fellowship and outreach.

Meets the 4th Wednesday of each month at 7 PM at various homes.  This group meets for Bible study, prayer,  fellowship and support of each other.  They also serve dinner at the Arlington Life Shelter twice a year, provide Christmas for a family in need, and provide refreshments for Club Grace the 4th Wednesday of each month.  This group is for couples only.

Meets 1st and 3rd    Fridays at 7 PM in the Fireside Room and Gym.  This group is focused on a relationship with the Lord and each other. They study curriculums that question our struggles and point us back to God.

Meets the 2nd and 4th Friday in the Fireside Room.  This group is for mature singles or couples who enjoy mutual support, Bible study, prayer, fellowship and mission opportunities.

Meets the 1st Friday at 7 PM at 1501 N Watson Rd in Arlington.  All married or single women over 50 who would like to grow in Bible study, wisdom, faith and friendship.
